Job Description

The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced Lead Senior Designer to join our team of innovative and creative professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a broad range of design projects, from conceptualization through to completion. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for design excellence and who is excited to contribute to the ongoing success of our organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in design, with a minimum of 5 years of design experience in a professional setting. They must also possess strong communication and team-working skills to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. The Lead Senior Designer must be able to work closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are developed in line with the desired objectives. They must also be able to effectively manage their own workloads and be able to proactively identify areas of improvement. Above all, the successful candidate must be driven and enthusiastic, and be inspired by creating meaningful and impactful design outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a broad range of design projects from concept to completion. • Work collaboratively with clients and other stakeholders to ensure projects are developed according to desired objectives. • Ability to manage own workloads and proactively identify areas for improvement. • Possess strong communication and team-working skills to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. • Utilize creative and innovative ideas to create meaningful and impactful design outcomes. • Remain up to date with industry trends and best practices.
