- Protect and preserve state parks and recreational areas through routine patrols and monitoring activities.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all park visitors.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting park visitors, answering questions, and providing information on park activities and amenities.
- Perform maintenance and upkeep tasks such as trail maintenance, litter pick-up, and facility cleaning to ensure a clean and welcoming park environment.
- Conduct educational programs and interpretive activities to promote awareness and appreciation of the natural and cultural resources within the parks.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards, maintenance issues, or environmental concerns within the park.
- Collaborate with other park staff and agencies to plan and execute special events and programs.
- Serve as a first responder in emergency situations and provide assistance to park visitors in need.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to park usage, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Continuously strive to improve park operations and enhance the visitor experience through innovative ideas and suggestions.
A Bachelor's Degree In Park Management, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Park Management, Conservation, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local Flora And Fauna, Conservation Practices, And Environmental Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Visitors, Staff, And Stakeholders.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Work In Various Outdoor Conditions, Including Hiking, Camping, And Performing Physical Tasks.
