- Monitor and patrol assigned state parks to ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and park resources.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to maintain order and protect natural resources.
- Provide information and assistance to visitors, including recommendations for activities and facilities within the park.
- Conduct educational programs and interpretive talks to promote awareness and appreciation of the park's natural and cultural resources.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of park facilities, including restrooms, trails, and campsites.
- Keep accurate records and reports of park activities, incidents, and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with other park staff and agencies to coordinate events and projects.
- Assist with the development and implementation of park management plans.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a role model for responsible and ethical behavior in the park.
- Foster positive relationships with visitors, local communities, and park partners.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the safety of others while on duty.
- Continuously monitor and report any potential hazards or issues within the park.
- Promote and follow sustainable practices to preserve and protect the natural resources of the park.
- Stay up-to-date on park policies, regulations, and procedures and communicate updates to visitors and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by park management.
Bachelor's Degree In Natural Resource Management, Park And Recreation Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Park Management, Resource Conservation, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local Flora And Fauna, As Well As Natural Resource Management Techniques.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Park Equipment, Including Vehicles, Boats, And Power Tools.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Visitors, Colleagues, And Stakeholders.
