- Assist and support Park Rangers in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of state parks.
- Greet and welcome visitors to the park, providing them with information about park rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular patrols of the park to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of park facilities, including trails, restrooms, and picnic areas.
- Educate visitors about the importance of conservation and responsible outdoor recreation.
- Respond to visitor inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Monitor and report any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues within the park.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge of park operations and conservation practices.
- Collaborate with other park staff and volunteers to plan and execute educational programs and events.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Park Ranger Assistant Job At State Of Oregon Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Are Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.
