The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team and ensure accurate processing of payroll and other related activities. The successful candidate will possess a combination of payroll, finance and accounting experience and be able to efficiently manage and reconcile payroll records. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on customer service and a deep understanding of payroll regulations, the Payroll Analyst will be a trusted advisor to the payroll team.To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll, finance, and/or accounting. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field is preferred. Experience with payroll and/or accounting software, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices, is essential in this role. The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is also a must.
