  1. Conduct water quality testing and analysis in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  2. Monitor and assess the health of water resources, including rivers, lakes, and groundwater.
  3. Identify potential sources of pollution and recommend corrective actions to maintain water quality standards.
  4. Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to develop and implement water quality management plans.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and industry developments related to water quality.
  6. Prepare and present reports on water quality data and findings to management and regulatory bodies.
  7. Conduct site visits and field investigations to collect samples and data.
  8. Use specialized equipment and tools to collect and analyze water samples.
  9. Maintain accurate records and databases of water quality data.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with the public, local communities, and other stakeholders about water quality issues and initiatives.
  11. Participate in public outreach and education programs to raise awareness about water quality and conservation.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols for water quality monitoring and analysis.
  13. Identify and address potential risks to water quality and recommend mitigation strategies.
  14. Train and supervise junior staff members in water quality monitoring and analysis techniques.
  15. Act as a liaison between government agencies, community organizations, and the public regarding water quality concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Water Quality And Environmental Protection.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Chemistry, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Water Quality Testing And Analysis.

  • Experience With Laboratory Techniques And Equipment Used In Water Quality Testing.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Data To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
