  11. Meet deadlines and work well under pressure to prioritize and manage a high volume of evidence.
  12. Attend trainings and workshops to continuously improve skills and knowledge in the field of forensic science.
  13. Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to evidence handling and processing.
  14. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and evidence.
  15. Represent the State of Texas and the crime lab in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Crime Lab Or Forensic Facility.

  • Knowledge Of The Scientific Methods And Techniques Used In Collecting And Analyzing Physical Evidence.

  • Familiarity With Laboratory Equipment And Instrumentation Related To Crime Scene Investigation And Evidence Analysis.

  • Ability To Accurately Document And Maintain Chain Of Custody For All Evidence Collected.
