
Immunization Specialist

- Develop and implement immunization programs and policies to ensure the health and well-being of citizens in the state of Texas.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of immunization programs and policies, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote awareness and education about immunization practices and protocols.
- Research and stay up-to-date on current immunization practices, protocols, and trends in order to inform program development and implementation.
- Provide training and education to healthcare professionals and community members on immunization practices and protocols.
- Collect and analyze data on immunization rates and trends in order to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for healthcare providers, community organizations, and the public regarding immunization policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to immunizations, and make recommendations for policy changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, to support immunization efforts.
- Act as a subject matter expert on immunization practices and policies, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Public Health, Or Related Field
Current Certification As A Registered Nurse (Rn) Or Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn) In The State Of Texas
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Immunization Services, Preferably In A Public Health Setting
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Immunizations
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Individuals On Immunization Practices
