Current Texas Lvn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Licensed Vocational Nurse Job At The State Of Texas Is To Hold A Valid And Current Lvn License Issued By The Texas Board Of Nursing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Required Education And Training To Practice As An Lvn In The State.
Minimum Education Requirements: The State Of Texas Requires Lvns To Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Completion Of A State-Approved Vocational Nursing Program. Many Employers May Also Prefer Candidates With An Associate Degree In Nursing.
