  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with the state's standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and provide resources for self-care.

  10. Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of the State of Texas.
  11. Take responsibility for maintaining and renewing nursing licensure and certifications.
  12. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
  13. Serve as an advocate for patients and their needs.
  14. Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and protect patient privacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Texas Lvn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Licensed Vocational Nurse Job At The State Of Texas Is To Hold A Valid And Current Lvn License Issued By The Texas Board Of Nursing. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Required Education And Training To Practice As An Lvn In The State.

  • Minimum Education Requirements: The State Of Texas Requires Lvns To Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Completion Of A State-Approved Vocational Nursing Program. Many Employers May Also Prefer Candidates With An Associate Degree In Nursing.

  • Relevant Work Experience: In Addition To Education, The State Of Texas May Also Require Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Lvn. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Internships, Externships, Or Previous Employment In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Basic Life Support Certification: As Lvns Work Closely With Patients, It Is Important For Them To Have The Necessary Skills To Respond To Emergency Situations. The State Of Texas May Require Candidates To Hold A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification, Which Includes Training In Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr) And First Aid.
