- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs, and present arguments in court.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies and industry professionals to identify potential fraudulent activities.
- Advise and provide guidance to other attorneys and staff on insurance fraud laws and regulations.
- Represent the state in negotiations and settlements related to insurance fraud cases.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance laws and regulations and analyze their potential impact on fraud cases.
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient case handling.
- Train and educate law enforcement officers and other officials on identifying and reporting insurance fraud.
- Conduct outreach and public education programs to raise awareness of insurance fraud and its consequences.
- Maintain accurate and thorough case files and documentation.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and agencies to develop strategies and initiatives to prevent and combat insurance fraud.
- Utilize technology and data analysis to detect patterns and trends in insurance fraud.
- Uphold ethical standards and adhere to all legal requirements in handling insurance fraud cases.
- Represent the state in legislative and policy discussions related to insurance fraud.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active License To Practice Law In The State Of Utah.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Insurance Fraud Investigations And Litigation.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Insurance Fraud.
