Job Description

Welcome to the State of Utah's Health Program Coordinator position! As a Health Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by coordinating and implementing various health programs and initiatives.   1. Develop and implement health programs and initiatives aimed at improving the overall health and wellness of the community.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers, to identify and address key health issues and needs.
  3. Conduct research and gather data to inform program development and evaluate effectiveness.
  4. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events related to health programs, including securing speakers and arranging logistics.
  5. Create and maintain program budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  6. Communicate with program participants and stakeholders to provide information, gather feedback, and address any concerns or questions.
  7. Develop and distribute educational materials and resources related to health programs and initiatives.
  8. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote health programs and initiatives through various channels, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
  9. Stay updated on current public health trends and research to continually improve and adapt health programs.
  10. Work with program evaluation teams to assess the impact and effectiveness of health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of program activities, including participant data, budget information, and program outcomes.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to health programs.
  13. Train and supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure the successful implementation of health programs.
  14. Represent the organization at community events and meetings to promote health programs and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and expand health programs to better serve the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Laws, Regulations, And Policies At The State And Federal Level

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Groups And Stakeholders.
