1. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of individuals with disabilities to determine their vocational needs and goals.
2. Develop individualized plans for each client in accordance with their abilities, interests, and career goals.
3. Provide counseling and guidance to clients in areas such as career exploration, job training, and job placement.
4. Collaborate with community resources and employers to identify suitable job opportunities for clients.
5. Monitor and track client progress and make necessary adjustments to plans as needed.
6. Stay up-to-date with disability laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of vocational rehabilitation services.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
8. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
9. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and develop action plans.
10. Advocate for clients and their needs, both within the agency and in the community.
11. Provide support and guidance to clients in navigating the job application process, including resume building and interview preparation.
12. Continuously evaluate and improve vocational rehabilitation programs and services.
