- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research, data, and activities.
- Train and supervise technicians and volunteers in data collection and fieldwork.
- Represent the state agency in meetings, conferences, and public events related to wildlife conservation.
- Adhere to ethical standards in research and handling of wildlife.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust management plans based on new data and changing conditions.
- Travel to remote locations and work in varying weather conditions and terrain.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge And Experience In Conducting Field Research, Including Data Collection And Analysis.
Understanding Of Wildlife Management Principles And Regulations, Particularly In The State Of Utah.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Collaborating With Other Biologists, Stakeholders, And The Public.
