  1. Ensure the safety and security of park visitors by enforcing rules and regulations.
  2. Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid or assistance as needed.
  3. Patrol park grounds, facilities, and trails to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
  4. Conduct investigations and gather evidence in cases of criminal activity or violations of park rules.
  5. Assist in search and rescue operations for missing or injured individuals.
  6. Collaborate with park staff, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services to coordinate and respond to incidents.
  7. Educate park visitors on rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
  8. Maintain a visible presence in the park to deter illegal activities and promote a safe environment.
  9. Provide information and assistance to park visitors, including directions, park information, and recreational opportunities.
  10. Monitor and report any potential damage or threats to natural resources within the park.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, activities, and observations.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on park policies, procedures, and law enforcement techniques.
  13. Serve as a positive role model for visitors and promote good stewardship of the park.
  14. Communicate effectively and professionally with park visitors, staff, and other law enforcement agencies.
  15. Adhere to all state and federal laws, regulations, and policies while performing duties as a Park Ranger.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Or A Related Field

  • Certification Or Training In Law Enforcement And Public Safety Procedures

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Pertaining To Park And Wildlife Management

  • Experience In Emergency Response And Crisis Management

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Work In Outdoor And Potentially Hazardous Environments.
