  2. Facilitate and lead classroom instruction, clinical demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions.
  3. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
  4. Create a positive and engaging learning environment, promoting student participation and fostering a passion for respiratory therapy.
  5. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
  6. Collaborate with other instructors and healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded education experience for students.
  7. Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and evaluations.
  9. Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating professionalism, ethical behavior, and a commitment to patient care.

  14. Collaborate with the admissions team to recruit and select qualified students for the respiratory therapy program.
  15. Represent the program and institution at professional events and conferences, promoting the program and recruiting potential students.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active Respiratory Therapist License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active License As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Virginia, And Be In Good Standing With The State Licensing Board.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Respiratory Therapist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Previous Teaching Or Precepting Experience: Candidates With Previous Experience As A Clinical Instructor Or Preceptor Will Be Given Preference.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Teach And Mentor Students.
