
Loss Prevention Specialist
Stater Bros. is looking for an experienced and motivated Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well with both customers and store personnel. Our Loss Prevention Specialist will help protect the organization from loss of merchandise, cash, and other assets.The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience in a retail or related field, and the ability to obtain a valid California Guard Card. Knowledge of security, safety, and loss prevention techniques, as well as familiarity with local, state, and federal laws, is also required.If you have a passion for protecting people and property and take pride in a job well done, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities of a Loss Prevention Specialist:
• Monitor the store environment for any suspicious activity.
• Investigate and resolve incidents of theft or loss.
• Maintain a strong presence in the store and act as a deterrent to potential shoplifters.
• Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and review video footage.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and create action plans.
• Communicate with store personnel to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Respond to alarms and investigate any security breaches.
• Document and report incidents and losses.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety and security policies.
• Provide training to store personnel on safety and security procedures.
• Conduct periodic audits of store security systems.
