
Product Development Assistant
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Product Development Assistant at Stella McCartney who will be an integral part of our product development team. In this role, you will work closely with the Design, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure that our products meet and exceed the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, a desire to stay ahead of the trends, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals. If you are excited by the idea of contributing to a world-class fashion house like Stella McCartney, we would love to hear from you.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.• At least two years of experience in product development in the fashion industry.• A comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry, including current trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.• Strong project management and organizational skills.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Design, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure products meet and exceed standards of quality • Monitor current trends and materials in the fashion industry • Develop and implement product design and development plans • Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and materials • Oversee and manage product development timelines and budgets • Evaluate products and provide feedback to ensure quality and brand standards are met • Assist with product presentations and marketing materials • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials are sourced and delivered on time • Document the product development process and maintain accurate records • Research and source new materials for product development • Develop relationships with vendors to ensure pricing and quality standards are met • Assist in the design and development of new product lines and collections.
