- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain and logistics operations.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to stores and customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all logistics processes.
- Manage and track logistics metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate logistics for new product launches and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance to upper management.
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the logistics team.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Management Within The Retail Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain And Logistics Processes, Including Inventory Management, Transportation, And Warehousing.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
Proficient In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap, Oracle, And Wms, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions Based On Insights.
