Job Description

At Synchrony, we are looking for a highly skilled Analyst - Model Validation to join our team. As the Analyst - Model Validation, you will be responsible for validating models and developing model validation plans. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis, financial services, and model validation.We're looking for an analytical thinker with strong communication and problem-solving skills who is eager to take initiative and collaborate with the team. If you have a passion for data and modeling and have the ambition to make an impact, this role is for you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science)• At least 3 years of relevant experience in model development and/or validation• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, R, or other similar languages• Experience with data manipulation, data analysis and visualization• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
