Sr Engineer, Cybersecurity - Threat Hunting
At T-Mobile, we are looking for a Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity - Threat Hunting who will play a critical role in enhancing and protecting our customer and company data. This position requires a creative, passionate, and experienced individual to identify and eliminate threats on our systems. We are looking for a self-starter who can bring a unique perspective to our team and make an impact.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, and/or incident response. Additionally, they should be well-versed in vulnerability and risk management processes. They should have advanced knowledge of both offensive and defensive security technologies, along with experience in malware analysis. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security protocols and strategies to identify and eliminate potential threats to T-Mobile's customer and company data.
- Utilize offensive and defensive security technologies to investigate and analyze malware and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and assess risk management processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cybersecurity and threat hunting initiatives.
- Train and advise personnel on proper security protocols and procedures.
- Analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and developments.
- Assist with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Work with internal and external IT personnel to ensure security protocols are followed.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues.
