
Desktop Support Technician
At T. Rowe Price, we are looking for a talented Desktop Support Technician to join our team. This role requires a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. The Desktop Support Technician will be a key member of the T. Rowe Price IT team, providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software.The ideal candidate will have experience with desktop support, troubleshooting, and computer hardware. Additionally, they should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities of a Desktop Support Technician at T. Rowe Price:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of desktop hardware and software.
- Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
- Configure desktop hardware and software.
- Assist with the installation and deployment of new equipment.
- Monitor and resolve system performance issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the network.
- Ensure compliance with established IT policies and procedures.
- Provide support for remote users.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades.
- Document desktop support activities.
