Job Description

Conduct privacy impact assessments on processes, systems, and projects to evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards. Monitor the GPO privacy queue for required reviews and approvals. Actively participate in privacy consultation (PCON), privacy impact assessment (PIA), and data protection impact assessment (DPIA) meetings and submit the required documentation for those PCONs, PIAs, and DPIAs that are assigned to the GPO. Work to implement the global compliance framework and support continuous program improvement. Monitor and track applicable international privacy and data protection updates with an eye to updating control frameworks. Monitor privacy mailbox and log inbound communications, as directed. Draft incident response plans for common privacy incident scenarios and perform annual reviews. Construct workflow, charts and diagrams in relation to privacy matters.

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years of related privacy experience

  • 3+ years of data privacy or data protection experience, preferably in the financial services industry

  • Ability to work independently, think critically and make decisions

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and meet deadlines
