Oracle / SQL Developer

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Oracle / SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and possess a strong technical background in Oracle / SQL development. The successful candidate must have the ability to take on complex database design and development tasks and have a knack for problem solving and critical thinking. They must also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team environment. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of Oracle / SQL development experience, possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have a deep understanding of database concepts. In addition, knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, and ETL tools is a plus. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Oracle SQL databases to support business initiatives.
2. Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries.
3. Implement data models and database designs in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
4. Utilize scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting to automate database processes.
5. Monitor database performance and tune as needed.
6. Create and maintain documentation related to database design and development.
7. Troubleshoot database issues and identify solutions.
8. Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful database development and integration.
9. Ensure data integrity and security of the database.
10. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Oracle SQL development.
