Job Description

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team. We are looking for an individual with extensive Tableau development experience who is able to provide detailed technical analysis, design, and development of Tableau visualizations. This individual should possess a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills. This person should be highly organized and have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; at least 5 years of experience in developing Tableau visualizations; a strong understanding of software development methodologies; knowledge of SQL and database platforms; and experience with web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Additionally, the candidate should have a passion for working with data and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed technical analysis and design of Tableau visualizations.
  2. Work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
  3. Provide technical guidance to other team members.
  4. Ensure data accuracy within Tableau visualizations.
  5. Utilize software development methodologies to implement Tableau visualizations.
  6. Create SQL queries and develop databases.
  7. Code web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  8. Monitor and update Tableau visualizations regularly.
  9. Research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  10. Document development processes and procedures.
