  1. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the university community.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities within the university's operations and facilities.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in risk management and sustainability to continuously improve the university's policies and procedures.
  6. Oversee the maintenance and updating of the university's risk and sustainability databases and records.
  7. Provide guidance and support to departments and individuals in developing and implementing risk management and sustainability initiatives.
  8. Work closely with the Director of Risk Management and Sustainability to develop and manage the department's budget and resources.
  9. Coordinate and conduct training and education programs for the university community on risk management, sustainability, and emergency preparedness.
  10. Serve as a liaison with external agencies and organizations in matters related to risk management and sustainability.
  11. Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and programs to promote environmental responsibility within the university.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to risk management, sustainability, and emergency preparedness.
  13. Participate in university-wide committees and meetings related to risk management and sustainability.
  14. Manage and supervise a team of risk management and sustainability staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Risk Management and Sustainability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Resiliency Planning, And Sustainability Initiatives.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Risk, Resiliency, And Sustainability.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Lead Teams.

  • Experience In Project Management, Data Analysis, And Budget Management To Effectively Implement And Monitor Risk, Resiliency, And Sustainability Programs.
