Manage and maintain the hospital's supply chain by receiving, storing, and distributing medical supplies and equipment.
Ensure that all materials are properly stocked and organized for efficient distribution.
Collaborate with other departments and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to replenish stock as needed.
Inspect all incoming materials for quality and accuracy, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and maintain accurate records of supplies.
Coordinate with clinical staff to understand supply needs and make adjustments to inventory levels accordingly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the materials management department.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling and storing materials.
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain and implementing efficient processes.
Provide exceptional customer service to all departments and vendors.
Train and mentor new team members on materials management procedures and protocols.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make suggestions to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in materials management technology.
