  1. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently.
  2. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of test results.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
  4. Educate patients on the purpose and procedure of echocardiograms, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including test results and medical history.
  6. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
  7. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and respond appropriately to any changes.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  9. Stay current on industry advancements and changes in technology, implementing new techniques and procedures as needed.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families at all times.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Various Cardiac Pathologies.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
