- Perform neurodiagnostic tests: Conduct a variety of neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyograms (EMGs), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and evoked potentials (EPs), to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort: Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during neurodiagnostic procedures by monitoring vital signs, adjusting equipment as needed, and responding to any patient concerns or discomfort.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: Regularly inspect and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed. Keep an inventory of supplies and order new materials when necessary.
- Record and interpret results: Accurately record and interpret the results of neurodiagnostic tests, including any abnormalities or significant findings, and report them to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
