Perform high-quality ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment.
Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient.
Maintain patient records and document all procedures accurately.
Monitor and evaluate image quality, making adjustments as needed to ensure accurate and clear images.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of equipment and supplies.
Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff during imaging procedures.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Provide excellent patient care by demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new protocols and procedures.
Attend and participate in continuing education and training to maintain current certification and stay updated on industry developments.

Graduation From An Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program: Tenet Healthcare Requires All Ultrasound Technologists To Have Successfully Completed An Accredited Program In Ultrasound Technology, Ensuring They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Effectively.
Ardms Certification: The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Certification Is Highly Valued By Tenet Healthcare And Is Often A Requirement For Employment. This Certification Demonstrates A Technologist's Expertise In The Field And Their Commitment To Ongoing Education And Professional Development.
Experience With Various Ultrasound Modalities: Tenet Healthcare Is Looking For Ultrasound Technologists With Experience Working With A Variety Of Ultrasound Modalities, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, Gynecological, And Vascular.
