  1. Lead a team of designers and engineers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative and sustainable charging solutions.
  2. Develop and implement design strategies to continuously improve the Supercharger stations, keeping them at the forefront of technology and design.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the design and functionality of the Supercharger stations meet the needs of our customers and align with Tesla's mission.
  4. Manage the design process from conception to production, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  5. Mentor and provide guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in sustainable energy to drive innovation in charging solutions.
  7. Ensure design concepts and final products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  8. Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.
  9. Continuously improve and streamline design processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  10. Represent Tesla and the Supercharger team at industry events and conferences to showcase our cutting-edge designs and technologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Design Experience: A Design Manager At Tesla Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Design, Preferably In The Automotive Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Design Principles, Processes, And Tools.

  • Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Designers And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Mentoring A Team, As Well As The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Others.

  • Technical Knowledge: A Design Manager At Tesla Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Familiar With The Latest Design Software And Tools. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Engineering Principles And Be Able To Work Closely With The Engineering Team To Ensure Design Feasibility.
