
EHS Specialist, Project Manager

- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures across all projects at Tesla.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address EHS concerns in project planning and execution.
- Coordinate and lead EHS training and awareness programs for employees.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and develop and implement preventive measures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for EHS-related issues and provide guidance to project teams.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in EHS management to continuously improve processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations.
- Develop and manage EHS budgets for projects and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate and promote Tesla's commitment to sustainability and EHS excellence.
- Mentor and train junior EHS team members.
- Continuously drive innovation and improvement in EHS practices at Tesla.
- Represent Tesla at EHS conferences and events.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental, Health, And Safety Management, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Safety Standards.
Project Management Skills, Including Experience In Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Budgets And Timelines.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To Diverse Audiences And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
