Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Tesla. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for performing low voltage repairs on our cutting-edge vehicles and equipment.   1. Perform repairs on low voltage systems in Tesla vehicles and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
  5. Collaborate with engineers to identify and solve complex technical problems.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and new technologies.
  7. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety guidelines.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
  9. Assist in the development and testing of new electrical systems and components.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project status and any potential issues.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Train and mentor new technicians as needed.
  14. Participate in special projects or assignments as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Electrical Knowledge And Experience: A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Systems And Components Is Essential For An Engineering Technician At Tesla, Particularly In The Area Of Low Voltage Repair. This Includes Knowledge Of Circuitry, Wiring, And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Technical Training And Certifications: Candidates Should Have Completed Relevant Technical Training Programs And Hold Certifications In Areas Such As Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Or Low Voltage Repair.
