  1. Design and develop equipment for Tesla's manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the best equipment and technology for Tesla's production needs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the equipment requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  4. Create detailed specifications, drawings, and schematics for new equipment designs.
  5. Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring it meets all design specifications and safety standards.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with equipment during the production process.
  7. Develop and implement maintenance and repair procedures to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in equipment technology, and make recommendations for implementing new equipment or upgrades.
  9. Train and mentor team members on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to equipment design and operation.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment and processes.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment design, testing, maintenance, and repair.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on equipment status, issues, and improvements.
  14. Uphold Tesla's values and mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Equipment Engineering, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, Such As Cnc Machines, Robots, And Assembly Lines.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Other Engineering Tools.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Equipment Issues.
