  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components for Tesla's propulsion systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish pricing agreements.
  3. Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate any risks.
  5. Work closely with engineering teams to understand product requirements and provide input on component selection and sourcing strategies.
  6. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with Tesla's quality standards and ethical practices.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to identify potential opportunities and risks for Tesla's supply chain.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and career development.
  9. Develop and maintain key performance indicators and metrics to track the performance of the supply chain and report to senior management.
  10. Act as a liaison between Tesla and its suppliers, addressing any issues or conflicts that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the supply chain processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain management.
  13. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the Propulsion supply chain team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management Or Procurement, Preferably In The Automotive Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Propulsion Systems And Components, Including Motors, Batteries, And Power Electronics.

  • Experience In Negotiating And Managing Contracts With Global Suppliers.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
