Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NVH Quality Engineer to join our team and help ensure that our vehicles not only deliver exceptional performance, but also meet the highest standards of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) quality.   1. Conduct NVH testing and analysis on Tesla vehicles to identify and address any noise, vibration, and harshness issues.
  2. Develop and implement NVH quality standards and processes to ensure Tesla vehicles meet or exceed industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve NVH issues during the design and development stages of new vehicle models.
  4. Perform root cause analysis on NVH related concerns and provide effective solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain NVH test procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  6. Monitor and track NVH performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Provide guidance and support to manufacturing teams to ensure NVH quality standards are met during production.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and developments in NVH engineering to continuously improve Tesla's NVH quality processes.
  9. Communicate NVH test results and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure NVH quality standards are met for all components used in Tesla vehicles.
  11. Conduct training and workshops for team members to improve NVH knowledge and skills.
  12. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while conducting NVH tests.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all NVH tests and results.
  14. Contribute to the development and improvement of Tesla's NVH testing equipment and tools.
  15. Uphold Tesla's commitment to innovation and quality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Nvh Engineering Or Related Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Nvh Principles And Testing Methods.

  • Proficiency In Nvh Analysis Software, Such As Lms Test.lab Or Pak.

  • Familiarity With Automotive Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Nvh.
