In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage and optimize the returnable packaging used in our supply chain.   1. Develop and implement strategies to manage and optimize returnable packaging in Tesla's supply chain.
  2. Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings in returnable packaging processes.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to drive implementation of returnable packaging solutions.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers and third-party partners to ensure compliance with sustainability goals.
  5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to returnable packaging, such as cost reduction and environmental impact.
  6. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in returnable packaging.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in and support for returnable packaging initiatives.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for returnable packaging programs.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to returnable packaging.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on returnable packaging for internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor team members on returnable packaging processes and procedures.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve returnable packaging processes to drive efficiency and sustainability.
  13. Collaborate with other sustainability teams to align returnable packaging initiatives with overall sustainability goals.
  14. Represent Tesla in industry events and conferences related to returnable packaging.
  15. Stay updated on emerging technologies and solutions for sustainable packaging and integrate them into Tesla's returnable packaging strategy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Logistics Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Returnable Packaging Systems And Experience Implementing Them In A High-Volume Production Environment.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels.
