
Rocky Mountains Regional Stream Restoration Lead
Are you an experienced stream restoration leader looking to make a lasting impact in the Rocky Mountains? We are looking for a strong, motivated Regional Stream Restoration Lead to join the Tetra Tech team and help us make a difference in the ecological health of the region.The Regional Stream Restoration Lead will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of a wide range of stream restoration projects in the Rocky Mountains. The successful candidate will have an intimate understanding of the natural environment, a comprehensive knowledge of stream restoration principles, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve positive outcomes.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, hydrology, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of experience in stream restoration and fluvial geomorphology; and experience working with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities of a Regional Stream Restoration Lead:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a wide range of stream restoration projects in the Rocky Mountains.
- Provide an intimate understanding of the natural environment and comprehensive knowledge of stream restoration principles.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Monitor progress of project milestones and ensure quality of work.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of project status and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness of project activities.
- Lead project teams and mentor junior staff.
- Liaise with stakeholders, partners, and other relevant organizations.
