Job Description

Are you an experienced stream restoration leader looking to make a lasting impact in the Rocky Mountains? We are looking for a strong, motivated Regional Stream Restoration Lead to join the Tetra Tech team and help us make a difference in the ecological health of the region.The Regional Stream Restoration Lead will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of a wide range of stream restoration projects in the Rocky Mountains. The successful candidate will have an intimate understanding of the natural environment, a comprehensive knowledge of stream restoration principles, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve positive outcomes.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, hydrology, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of experience in stream restoration and fluvial geomorphology; and experience working with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities of a Regional Stream Restoration Lead:

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of a wide range of stream restoration projects in the Rocky Mountains.
  2. Provide an intimate understanding of the natural environment and comprehensive knowledge of stream restoration principles.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve positive outcomes.
  4. Maintain excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  5. Monitor progress of project milestones and ensure quality of work.
  6. Provide accurate and timely reporting of project status and deliverables.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness of project activities.
  9. Lead project teams and mentor junior staff.
  10. Liaise with stakeholders, partners, and other relevant organizations.
