As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in the production process.   1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used in the production process.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  3. Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including inventory of parts and supplies.
  4. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address potential equipment issues before they occur.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with equipment.
  6. Continuously monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements or updates to increase efficiency and productivity.
  7. Train and assist other team members in proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in equipment technology to make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment storage and maintenance areas.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any equipment issues or updates.
  11. Prioritize and manage workload to meet production demands and deadlines.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and production goals.
  13. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to equipment maintenance and operation.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Equipment Maintenance And Troubleshooting, With A Thorough Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems. This Includes Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Schematics And Technical Manuals.

  • Experience In Semiconductor Industry: Texas Instruments Is A Global Leader In The Semiconductor Industry, So Experience Working With Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Is Highly Desirable. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Cleanroom Protocols And Safety Procedures Specific To This Industry.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Equipment Technician, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Ensuring The Proper Operation And Calibration Of Highly Sensitive Equipment. This Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Accurately Document And Track Equipment Performance.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving Abilities And Be Able To Think Critically In High-Pressure Situations. They Should Be Able To Quickly Identify And Troubleshoot Issues With Equipment And Implement Effective Solutions To Minimize Downtime.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Working In A Manufacturing Environment, The Candidate Should Be Comfortable With A Variable Schedule And Able To Adapt To Changing Priorities And Tight Deadlines.
