  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used in surface preparation and wet processing of semiconductor materials.
  2. Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine root causes of malfunctions.
  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address equipment inefficiencies.
  5. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and downtime.
  6. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols when working with equipment.
  8. Train new technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in equipment maintenance and repair.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report any issues or concerns with equipment.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance and safety.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience With Surface Preparation And Wet Process Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Operating And Maintaining Surface Preparation And Wet Process Equipment, Such As Chemical Baths, Etching Systems, And Polishing Machines.

  • Technical Knowledge And Troubleshooting Skills: The Equipment Technician Should Possess A Solid Understanding Of The Technical Principles Behind Surface Preparation And Wet Process Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Attention To Detail: Due To The Sensitive Nature Of The Equipment And Processes Involved, The Equipment Technician Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Steps Are Performed Accurately And According To Specifications.

  • Safety And Compliance: Texas Instruments Values Safety And Compliance Above All Else. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Surface Preparation And Wet Process Equipment, And Be Able To Ensure That All Processes Are Performed In A Safe And Compliant Manner.
