Engagement and Inclusion Program Internship

To assist in developing training and guidance for volunteers, staff, and guests in order to ensure that we maintain an environment that is inclusive for all. To assist in the research and metric development for the program. To assist in maintaining the referral database for the program. Developing contacts and resources within the community to ensure that we remain connected and on top of trends and needs within the realm of engagement, diversity, and inclusion. Assist with the development of strategies for working effectively with staff and volunteers to design, implement and evaluate programs to accommodate individuals with special needs. To assist in the planning and execution of program related events. Special projects as assigned.

The Texas State Aquarium is a nonprofit aquarium located in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. It is dedicated to promoting environmental conservation and rehabilitation of the wildlife of the Gulf of Mexico. It has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 1995.
