
Student Athlete Academic Advisor
Texas State University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Athlete Academic Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic counseling and support to our student athletes in order to facilitate their academic success and to ensure that their academic and athletic activities are in compliance with NCAA and University regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right qualifications, who is eager to help our student athletes achieve their academic goals.The ideal candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in academic advising, college counseling, or a related field. They should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a commitment to developing and implementing strategies that will further the academic success of our student athletes. The successful candidate must also have a thorough understanding of NCAA regulations and have the ability to effectively manage complex student caseloads. Finally, the ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a passion for helping young people reach their academic goals.
