Job Description

At Texas State University, we are looking for an innovative and motivated Training & Education Instructional Designer Specialist to join our team and help us to continue providing our students with the best educational experience possible. The successful candidate will have a passion for education, strong instructional design skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field and at least three years of experience in instructional design in a higher education setting. They should also be proficient in using instructional design software and have experience in developing, designing, and delivering courses and other educational materials. An advanced degree in instructional design or education and experience teaching in higher education is preferred.The Training & Education Instructional Designer Specialist will be responsible for creating high-quality learning experiences that support the needs of our students and faculty. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and staff to create meaningful learning outcomes and will be expected to provide guidance and support to ensure our educational programs are effective and innovative.
