- Collaborate with various departments and business units to develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with Textron's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations to senior management on key business initiatives and decisions.
- Monitor and track financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models and tools to support decision-making processes.
- Communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, including presenting to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations while identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial planning and analysis.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in finance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and train junior team members to develop their financial and analytical skills.
- Work with external stakeholders, such as auditors and consultants, to support financial reporting and analysis.
- Represent Textron's values and culture by promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Strong Financial Analysis Skills: The Finance Business Partner Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Able To Analyze Complex Data To Provide Insights And Recommendations To Drive Business Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, So The Finance Business Partner Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Convey Financial Information And Build Relationships.
Proven Experience In Financial Planning And Analysis: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Financial Planning And Analysis, Including Budgeting, Forecasting, And Variance Analysis. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Provide Accurate And Insightful Financial Analysis.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Finance Business Partner Should Have A Strategic Mindset And A Strong Understanding Of The Business And Industry In Order To Provide Proactive And Strategic Financial Guidance To Drive Business Growth.
Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency In Financial Analysis Tools And Software, Such As Excel And Financial Modeling Software, Is Essential For This Role. Additionally, Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards Is Important For Accurate And Timely Financial Analysis And Reporting.
