  1. Conduct ultrasonic inspections on various components and products to detect any defects or flaws.
  2. Utilize advanced ultrasonic testing equipment and techniques to accurately assess product quality.
  3. Work closely with other team members to ensure all inspections are completed in a timely manner.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspection results and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
  5. Continuously monitor and improve inspection processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing inspections.
  7. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot any issues or abnormalities found during inspections.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and advancements in ultrasonic inspection technology.
  9. Provide training and guidance to other team members on ultrasonic inspection techniques.
  10. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its reputation for quality and innovation.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Ultrasonic Testing (Ut) Principles And Techniques: An Ultrasonic Inspector At Textron Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Ut Principles And Techniques, Including Different Types Of Probes, Scanning Methods, And Signal Analysis.

  • Certification In Ut: To Be Considered For The Ultrasonic Inspector Position At Textron, Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification In Ut From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Society For Nondestructive Testing (Asnt).

  • Proficiency In Interpreting Codes And Standards: Textron Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Ultrasonic Inspector Must Be Proficient In Interpreting Relevant Codes And Standards, Such As Asme, Api, And Astm, To Ensure Compliance With Industry Standards.

  • Experience With Advanced Ut Equipment: Textron Uses State-Of-The-Art Ut Equipment, And The Ideal Candidate Must Have Hands-On Experience With Advanced Equipment Such As Phased Array And Time-Of-Flight Diffraction (Tofd) Systems.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Documentation Skills: As An Ultrasonic Inspector, One Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Accurately Detect And Document Defects. This Includes The Ability To Prepare Detailed Reports And Maintain Accurate Records Of Inspections.
