Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is seeking an experienced Analyst, Corporate Actions to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field, and a minimum of three years of corporate actions experience. The successful Analyst, Corporate Actions will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the corporate actions industry and the associated rules and regulations.The position requires a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with the internal clients and vendors. The Analyst, Corporate Actions will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of corporate actions events, including dividend payments, stock splits, rights offerings, and mergers and acquisitions, among others. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and a great working environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Process corporate actions events accurately and in a timely manner, including dividend payments, stock splits, rights offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
  2. Develop strong relationships with internal clients and vendors.

  4. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the corporate actions industry and the associated rules and regulations.
  5. Provide excellent communication and organizational skills.
