Job Description

The Bank of New York Mellon is looking for an outstanding Analyst to join our Corporate Actions team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and take on a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our Corporate Actions. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced professional, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate experience in handling corporate action events. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the financial industry, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.A successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and must have a minimum of two years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in the Corporate Actions space. Strong knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Reuters is preferred. Responsibilities:

  5. Utilize Bloomberg and/or Reuters to retrieve data and information.
  6. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  7. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  10. Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
