
Head of Payroll
The Children's Place is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as Head of Payroll. We are looking for someone who is passionate about payroll and has a drive for delivering accurate and timely results. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, providing guidance and advice to the payroll staff, and ensuring compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of professional payroll experience, along with a four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in payroll software, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire payroll process, from collecting and processing employee data to completing payroll calculations and issuing payments.
- Provide guidance and advice to payroll staff and ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll information, including deductions, taxes, and other applicable withholdings.
- Prepare and submit reports to government agencies and other entities as needed.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll.
- Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with established procedures.
- Take on additional tasks and duties as assigned.
