Credit Union Accountant

The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of how to manage credit union accounts. This position requires a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. The Credit Union Accountant will have a key role in ensuring that all credit union accounts are effectively managed and that all necessary documents are accurately maintained. This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with at least two years of experience in credit union accounting and/or finance. The ideal candidate should also possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is also a must.
