Job Description

Conduct review of scientific or other literature in order to maintain and improve laboratory knowledge/skill, identify appropriate analytical techniques for projects/studies. Perform chemical analyses using instrumental methods in order to determine the composition of samples; interact with clients; organize the workflow and schedule tasks to maximize efficiency. Work both independently and in a collaborative team environment to support R&D projects (particularly collaborations with Apopka R&D, Flavor Research, and other analytical functions within the Company) and company’s needs. Responsibilities of this position also include searching scientific literature and other relevant technical information sources to uncover emerging trends and leverage findings to establish newer capabilities.

Job Qualifications

  • Experiences in LC, LC/MS, and GC/Olfactometry are desirable.

  • Experiences in sample cleanup and sample preparation techniques from various matrices for routine and non-routine qualitative and quantitative analyses

  • Experiences in flavor chemistry/science and organic chemistry are highly preferred.

  • 0-5 years of industry experience
