Metrology Technician

We are looking for a Metrology Technician to join The Dow Chemical Company team! This role is critical to our success as the Metrology Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of measuring and test equipment. 1. Repair, maintain, and calibrate measuring and test equipment according to established standards.
2. Ensure the accuracy of test results by inspecting and testing instruments regularly.
3. Follow established procedures for documentation of all work performed.
4. Troubleshoot problems and suggest solutions to improve equipment performance.
5. Provide training to other technicians on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
6. Research and recommend new types of equipment and tools as needed.
7. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when necessary.
8. Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
9. Keep up to date on all industry regulations and standards.
10. Perform other duties, as assigned.
